What We Do
South Project provides a range of essential services designed to empower young mothers and help them navigate the challenges of motherhood.
Mentorship Program
We connect young mothers with trained mentors who provide guidance, support, and encouragement. Mentors share their experiences and offer valuable advice on various aspects of life, including education, parenting, and personal development.
Resource Distribution
We supply young mothers with essential items such as baby supplies, educational materials, and hygiene products. This helps ensure that they have the necessary resources to care for their children and improve their quality of life.
Educational Workshops
We organize workshops focused on critical topics such as parenting skills, financial literacy, and career development. These workshops aim to equip young mothers with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed personally and professionally.
Community Engagement Events
We host events that foster community connections, raise awareness about the challenges young mothers face, and celebrate their successes. These gatherings provide a platform for young mothers to share their stories and build a supportive network.
Support Groups
We offer safe spaces for young mothers to connect, share experiences, and receive support. These groups encourage open dialogue and help reduce isolation. They also build a sense of community, fostering confidence and resilience in motherhood.
Advocacy and Outreach
We actively work to reduce stigma surrounding teenage motherhood by advocating for young mothers within the community. Through outreach efforts, we aim to educate the public about the realities and challenges faced by young parents

Reclaiming Your Next Chapter
Reclaiming Your Next Chapter is a nurturing workshop for moms who feel ready for a fresh start but need permission to take it. This experience creates space to release shame, honor the journey so far, and gently refocus on what matters most right now. With guided support and a simple reset plan, moms leave feeling lighter, encouraged, and reminded that beginning again isn’t failure, it’s growth, healing, and hope.

Season of Giving
Season of Giving is South Project’s annual holiday gift distribution event for the young mothers and families we serve. Created to bring joy, encouragement, and support during the holiday season, this special event provides registered participants with the opportunity to pick up holiday gifts for their children and families. Our goal is to help make the season brighter while celebrating the strength, resilience, and dedication of the young mothers in our community. We look forward to welcoming you to Season of Giving and sharing the joy of the holidays together.
