About South Project

South Project empowers young mothers by offering mentorship, resources, and guidance in a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment. We help them overcome obstacles, continue their education or pursue a trade, and build sustainable, independent lives for themselves and their children. Our vision is a future where young mothers feel supported, equipped, and empowered to achieve their goals and positively impact their communities.

What We Do

South Project provides a range of essential services designed to empower young mothers and help them navigate the challenges of motherhood.

Mentorship Program

We connect young mothers with trained mentors who provide guidance, support, and encouragement. Mentors share their experiences and offer valuable advice on various aspects of life, including education, parenting, and personal development.

Resource Distribution

We supply young mothers with essential items such as baby supplies, educational materials, and hygiene products. This helps ensure that they have the necessary resources to care for their children and improve their quality of life.

Educational Workshops

We organize workshops focused on critical topics such as parenting skills, financial literacy, and career development. These workshops aim to equip young mothers with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed personally and professionally.

Community Engagement Events

We host events that foster community connections, raise awareness about the challenges young mothers face, and celebrate their successes. These gatherings provide a platform for young mothers to share their stories and build a supportive network.

Support Groups

We offer safe spaces for young mothers to connect, share experiences, and receive support. These groups encourage open dialogue and help reduce isolation. They also build a sense of community, fostering confidence and resilience in motherhood.

Advocacy and Outreach

We actively work to reduce stigma surrounding teenage motherhood by advocating for young mothers within the community. Through outreach efforts, we aim to educate the public about the realities and challenges faced by young parents

From Survival Mode To Stable

From Survival Mode to Stable is a gentle, empowering workshop created for moms who are tired of just getting through the day. It speaks to the constant pressure, the overwhelm, and the feeling that stability is always just out of reach. Through honest conversation and practical tools, moms are reminded that survival mode is not a failure it’s a response. Participants learn how small, manageable systems can bring relief, create breathing room, and open the door to hope. Moms leave feeling seen, lighter, and reassured that stability isn’t a dream it’s something they can build, one step at a time.
